"White Pines Cabin" w/ Ideal Beach Access!

Clean and child friendly.

We loved our stay and only wish we had more time! The cabin was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. The only downside was that, for the price, it felt inconvenient to be responsible for hauling trash down to the dumpster at the bottom of the hill. That’s something I would have expected to be included in the stay, but overall it was such a wonderful experience and we’d love to come back!

We originally booked Monday-Thursday but the site contacted us and said the previous guests were checking out Saturday and if we moved our listing to Sunday they would give us a discounted rate. It wasn't convenient for us but we were able to make arrangements and move some things around and changed our dates to Sunday - Wednesday....when it came time to pay I noticed the discount had not been applied and we were in fact paying more (since we were now paying the slightly higher weekend rate for Sunday). I contacted the host but they said since we decided to leave a day earlier, it didn't help them out like they thought so they decided not the extend the offer for the discount. It wasn't clearly communicated to us that we need to stay until Thursday to get the discount and after all the hassle we ended up paying more.When we arrived there was a pile of linens upstairs near the bunk beds. There was a very clear and odorous urine stain on the top. We contacted the property management company and sent them pictures. We needed extra bedding for my daughter to sleep on the fold out couch but it took them 2 days to pick it up and they kept trying to tell us that it was clean linen. It was disgusting.Bear Lake is a gem of a vacation spot. We loved the lake, the town and the pickleville theatre. The house was nice and there was a friendly dog that greeted us at the door and often deer out the window. The hot tub was nice. We go 1-2x year but wont stay here again.

This property hit right in the middle for us. Cute cabin with a fantastic view of the lake! Housekeeping felt rushed as some of the kitchen shelves were dusty , refrigerator handles not wiped down and glass wear had smuges. The dishwasher was not attached or installed properly and did not work. Maintenance was not able to remedy this before we left so we had to improvise. I would recommend this property and/or stay at it again despite some of the mishaps.

Great location surrounded by trees. It's close to the main road, while preserving a feeling of seclusion. Our favorite thing to do was sit on the patio and enjoy the breeze and view. Wifi worked great, management was responsive, and we were pleasantly surprised with the available paddle board for use. There were a few basics missing that I would have expected (body wash, matches/lighter, salt) but nothing a quick trip to Mike's market couldn't solve. We would definitely stay here again!
